George Churchill Kenney (1889-1977) was a United States Army Air Force general during World War II. My Recording Space

Yes, built into my bedroom closet is my recording booth. You wouldn't think so but the sound is actually quite good. Those sound dampening blankets are not only cost efficient for a fresh new business, but also quite effective at dampening local reverberation.

There's a tablet for reading scripts, as well as a wireless keyboard/mouse track-pad and standalone computer screen. This allows me to keep my laptop out of my closet and its fan further away from my microphone, resulting in less need for noise editing post record.

Of course the main focus is the microphone, and I use a Blue Yeti USB Condenser Microphone. Hailed as the best microphone for its price, it delivers high quality sound in a cardioid pattern as well as real-time audio feedback to me via the built in headphone jack.

Simple. Effective.
